Fixin' Our Roads!

Finally, after many years of suffering with never-maintained roads, our subdivision approved a major capital project to pave the roads with asphalt. Work began on October 17, 2016.

These photos show the progress. Bright sunlight and resulting strong shadows hide much of the detail in some photos.

November 18, 2016 – Speed humps

Speed humps are 14' long and 3½" high. You can drive over one smoothly at about 20 MPH, but any faster is very unpleasant. The orange traffic cones are temporary until we install warning signs.
